To put it simple, I fell in love with the Palais Namaskar in Marocco.
Palais Namaskar, is one of the most fantastic luxury hotels in the Oetker Collection of hotels and in my opinion: the cream of the crop.
Morocco has always held something special for me. I am not sure entirely what it was, whether it was the landscape, the food, the markets, the beauty…it could have been any of those but all I knew was that I was intrigued and needed to find out more about this beautiful country and one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed so far.
Palais Namaskar is one of those places where you can get utterly lost in the beauty and tranquility, it truly seems like another world. From the moment I got there, I knew that this was a very special hotel.
The linear Moorish archways, gracefully accenting floating waterways and Balinese gardens, that frame the property, set the tone for the breathtaking landscape. With the mysterious Atlas Mountains providing a majestic backdrop to this oasis, everything from the views, open spaces, to the decor of the suites and villas is flawless. The most decadent gym completed with chandeliers, regal Moroccan spa and the piece de resistance, the captivating restaurant over looking the main pool, all play part in the grand story of this very special place.
You can choose in between deluxe rooms with a private outdoor Jacuzzi , larger suites with a private pool , until you get to sumptuous villas , spread over several floors, equipped with every kind of comfort.
But what makes Palais Namaskar even more special is that you feel completely at home. The staff makes you feel totally at ease, everything you ask for is delivered above and beyond requirement. Complementary drinks and afternoon treats are served by the hotel pool, a kings breakfast is available at your own private pool and a fantastic restaurant is pleased to serve you, where everything on the menu is sublime.
It really felt like a hazy dream, described as the Moroccan paradise.
This hotel made me feel like royalty and I know I will be back very soon !
